Dr Alberto M. Forte
Psychiatrist and psychotherapist
Born in Rome and educated in Italy, the US and Switzerland. Fascinated by the link between humans and their environment, he has devoted his time to neuroscience and outdoor activities.
He is a specialist in stress management and associated psychopathologies, supporting people with high potential and those suffering from Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD). His search for psychophysical balance led him to open Almaval, a centre for psychiatry, psychotherapy & personal development in the great outdoors. Together with his team, he is developing a clinical practice based on outdoor cognitive-behavioural therapies, merging his passions for science, nature, sports, knowledge, management and self-improvement in order to best benefit Almaval’s patients.
In partnership with the health care system, Swiss and American universities, he is also involved in research based on natural methods complementary to psychiatry, such as, floating, meditation, psychedelic medicine & fasting.
