Specialties and services

Psychiatry

Outpatient psychiatric care provides diagnostic, pharmacological treatment, and follow-up services based on the latest scientific knowledge.

Neuropsychology

The neuropsychology service assesses and treats brain-related cognitive and emotional disorders resulting from psychological or neurological conditions, using tests and personalised interventions to optimise mental functions and improve the individual's quality of life. It addresses areas such as memory, attention, language, perception, and executive functions.

Psychology and psychotherapy

Psychology and psychotherapy offer professional and confidential support to understand and resolve emotional, behavioural, and relational difficulties or to carry out treatment for a diagnosis. Through tailored therapeutic approaches, they foster mental well-being, personal growth, and the development of appropriate problem-solving strategies.

Nursing care

Somatic and psychiatric nursing care combines a holistic approach to provide comprehensive care to the individual, taking into account both physical and mental health needs, in close collaboration with ongoing therapeutic follow-ups.

Complementary approaches

Complementary approaches are at the heart of integrative care. They encompass a range of paramedical practices used alongside traditional approaches. They aim for synergy with first-line therapies to promote health, relieve symptoms, and improve well-being.

Almaval is a centre of excellence in psychiatry, neuropsychology, psychology, and integrative psychotherapy, benefiting from a privileged setting.

Through a holistic approach based on different therapeutic methods, on the resources of nature and movement, the therapists aim to help each person regain control of their life through personalised care tailored to their request. Almaval’s locations, of high environmental and historical value, offer a warm and welcoming therapeutic setting. Thanks to close interdisciplinary collaboration among specialists, Almaval offers on-site or remote appointments within short timeframes, for any request related to mental well-being.

Specialists

At the heart of multidisciplinarity, the Almaval centres stand out by offering a care environment that revolves entirely around the patient, taking into account all aspects of their physical, emotional, and mental health. These innovative centres bring together teams of therapists from various specialities working in close collaboration to provide comprehensive and personalised care.

The true strength of Almaval centres lies in the close collaboration among the various healthcare professionals. The exchange of expertise, consultation meetings, and integrated approaches enable harmonious coordination of care, ensuring optimal continuity throughout the patient's care pathway. This patient-centred approach fosters a better understanding of their needs, shared decision-making, and an overall improvement in their quality of life.

The Almaval centres embody the vision of holistic care, where the patient is at the heart of all decisions and benefits from a multidisciplinary team dedicated to their well-being. Thanks to this collaborative approach and an environment conducive to care, the Almaval centres are places where the healthcare world comes together to offer the best chances of recovery and healing.

All doctors, psychotherapists, neuropsychologists and nurses in our centres are authorised to practise under compulsory health insurance. For other disciplines, certain specialists are authorised to practise under compulsory health insurance.
