Claudia Mühlemann

Psychologist in psychotherapy training FSP

As a FSP psychologist in postgraduate psychotherapy training in Person-Centered Approach (ACP), her approach is based on three fundamental pillars: Unconditional Positive Regard, Empathy, and Congruence. These three foundations, developed by the psychologist Carl Rogers, aim to provide personal inner security. This inner security is the guiding principle in Claudia’s support, allowing individuals to explore sometimes yet unknown parts of their personality. She notably uses mindfulness to bring out bodily sensations, helping the patient learn to tame them and understand what they are trying to communicate. Through the sessions, she proposes to discover what your deep resources are to better know yourself and thus develop greater kindness towards yourself. In this sense, Claudia also works with meeting your inner child. After several years in the hospital and in foster homes, she now offers individual, couple, and group follow-ups, with the possibility of inviting a significant person if needed. Claudia welcomes the person where they are in their journey, taking into account the specificities of each individual. She is currently specializing in the integration of trauma in situations where post-traumatic stress disorder or dissociative disorders have developed. Claudia is also trained in supporting perinatal bereavement.
