Curious to understand the connection between the mind, body, and soul, I naturally gravitated towards clinical psychology, holistic approaches, and psychotherapy. My approach is inspired by Carl R. Rogers’ humanistic approach and incorporates the following principles: empathy, congruence, and unconditional positive regard. Therefore, in my practice, it is essential for me to create a secure environment where individuals can delve deep within themselves. All feelings are valid to be expressed, and each emotion carries a valuable message. My academic, professional, and personal journey has led me to a significant interest in mood disorders, anxiety, psychosomatic issues, post-traumatic stress, emotion management, addiction, spirituality, and support for LGBTQIA+ individuals. In addition to this, I integrate attachment theory and the understanding of the inner child.
