Mélanie Norberg
Psychologist in psychotherapy training FSP
I have a degree in Clinical Psychology from the University of Lausanne and I am currently training in humanistic psychotherapy, specifically Person-Centered Approach. As a naturally curious person, I have a deep interest and respect for other people’s life stories. It is through our own experiences, which can sometimes be difficult, that we become who we are. Sometimes events can affect us emotionally and physically, preventing us from being our true selves. My goal is to accompany children, adolescents, and adults through a welcoming therapeutic framework based on an authentic and compassionate alliance. By facilitating access to their own understanding of the difficulties they face and their own resources, I hope to help them overcome their challenges. To achieve this, I draw inspiration from a humanistic framework based on compassion, authenticity, and positive acceptance of the individual by the therapist. I also propose to explore experiences and difficulties through artistic tools such as drawing, painting, or photography. Additionally, I am interested in the cognitive-behavioral approach, focusing on relaxation and mental imagery.
